Classic has played a lead role with the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Conventions (CERC), a non-profit organization promoting environmental best practices for large conventions starting with the 2004 Democratic and Republican national conventions in Boston and New York.

Classic provided sponsor recruitment, publicity, and event management services for three events held for delegates at the Democratic National Convention, including the highly-acclaimed New Energy for America. Classic provided sponsor recruitment support and publicity for CERC events held in conjunction with the Republican National Convention, as well.
