FEI World Cup Finals, Las Vegas, Nevada

FEI World Cup FinalsClassic’s role with the FEI World Cup Finals, featuring international championships in the equestrian disciplines of show jumping and dressage, includes marketing the competition to potential sponsors, trade fair vendors and program advertisers.  Beyond its marketing efforts that have led to support from dozens of companies, Classic also oversees the event’s public relations program, including managing the media center for the nearly 200 journalists from the U.S. and abroad.  Classic also manages the event’s Vendor Village with several dozen vendor booths and displays.

Run of the Charles Canoe & Kayak Race, Boston, Massachusetts

Charles River Watershed AssociationClassic’s marketing efforts for the Run of the Charles Canoe & Kayak Race (ROTC), which Classic has run for the Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA) since 1997, has successfully attracted cash and in-kind support for the nation’s oldest and largest watershed association. A partnership negotiated by Classic designated GateHouse Media as the Run of the Charles’s “Official Newspaper” enhancing the value of ROTC sponsorships by offering the chance for visibility in 17 newspapers in towns within the watershed. In addition to securing cash sponsorships, Classic’s marketing efforts has also reduced the cost of producing the event by securing the donation of needed goods and services.

North American Junior and Young Riders’ Championships

North American Junior and Young Rider's ChampionshipsFor more than a decade, Classic coordinated marketing, as well as public relations, activities for the North American Junior and Young Riders’ Championships (NAJYRC), North America’s premier equestrian competition for riders aged 14-21. Classic helped secure significant corporate support for the event including the successful negotiation of agreements for title and presenting sponsors.

Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Conventions (CERC)

Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Conventions (CERC)Classic coordinated media activities for the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Conventions (CERC), a non-profit organization promoting environmental best practices for large conventions that started with the 2004 Democratic and Republican national conventions in Boston and New York. Classic actively solicited media coverage through press releases, aggressive media liaison and press conferences. CERC received extensive media coverage surrounding its efforts connected with the two conventions, not only in Boston and New York, but also in major media across the country and internationally as well.

American Invitational, Tampa, Florida

American InvitationalHeld in Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, site of Super Bowl XXXV and home of the National Football League’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the American Invitational is one of show jumping’s leading spectacles. Starting in 1982, Classic helped market the event to group and individual ticket buyers. Classic developed relationships with large employers and organizations in the Tampa Bay area, building a solid base of local support for one of show jumping’s best attended events.
