Over the years, Classic has developed and implemented conventional and non-traditional campaigns on behalf of a variety of interests including clients involved in business, entertainment, politics and sports in addition to a variety of non-profit organizations. Classic has conducted campaigns to promote the programs of the National Disability Sports Alliance, the national launch of a syndicated television series starring National Football League star Lyle Alzado, understanding among law enforcement officials and the general public of laws on cable theft, and spectator attendance for tennis, golf, cycling, and other sporting events. 

  • National Disability Sports Alliance

    Classic handles media relations for the National Disability Sports Alliance (NDSA), a community-based organization member of the U.S. Olympic Committee and a member of the International Paralympic Committee. NDSA provides athletic competition opportunities for athletes with physical disabilities.

    On behalf of NDSA, Classic oversees all media relations and publicity activities including the writing and distribution of press releases, ongoing liaison with trade publications, and the production and distribution of NDSA’s monthly electronic newsletter.

  • National Sports Festival

    Classic oversees media relations for the National Sports Festival, the nation’s largest annual competition for athletes with physical disabilities. Because of its outstanding reputation, the National Sports Festival was selected by the Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association (CP-ISRA) to host more than 1000 athletes from 40-plus countries in the 2005 CP-ISRA World Championships.

    Classic Communications’ public relations efforts include generating advance publicity in local and disability media, hosting attending media and providing on-site media management as well as generating follow-up media coverage.

  • The Legacy of Spirit

    Classic is responsible for all aspects of public relations and promotion for The Legacy of Spirit concert and lecture series. The Legacy of Spirit presents Jewish history through the prism of Jewish music, exposing its essence and grounding it deep in historical context. In so doing, The Legacy of Spirit strives to preserve for future generations the ancient traditions of Judaism’s sacred music.

  • Cross Country International

    Classic coordinates publicity and media relations for Cross Country International, the world’s premier adventure travel company. Classic works closely with travel writers to introduce them to CCI, which offers equestrian and walking vacations. Since starting with CCI in 2002, Classic has generated significant coverage in major media across the nation, including placements in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Houston Chronicle, Detroit News and Free Press, Miami Herald, Baltimore Sun and Boston Globe.
